The Take Stock Effect

Murder Mystery and Mayhem

Thanks to our partnership with Pineapple Kitchen, we successfully raised scholarship funds to support students in need! Every meal purchased during the event contributed to making education more accessible and empowering our future leaders. Huge thanks to everyone who participated and made a difference!

Lead 'em Up - Leadership Program

Our Lead ‘Em Up Program equips students with essential leadership skills, fostering their confidence and ability to create positive change. Through interactive workshops, mentorship, and real-world experiences, participants learn to inspire others, navigate challenges, and lead with integrity!

Hope in Action

Our graduates on average see a large increase in not only academic achievement but in financial independence later in life as well. As one would assume, adults who attend college are more likely to find a career than those who do not. This is one of the main basis of the disadvantaged in communities as industries change and the demand for a modernly-skilled workforce grows.

Providing Hope Since 1996

Providing Hope Since the mid-90's

Since 1996, Take Stock has stepped into the communities that need the most help- and the impact has been nearly instant. To date, Take Stock in Children Manatee has sent nearly 600 underserved students to college. We hope to continue the important work being done to help at-risk students through educational opportunities and support mentors volunteering their time to making an impact in a student’s life!

Socioeconomic Marginalization...

Adversity continues to be a prevalent concern in our society, and Take Stock is committed to addressing it within our communities. Numerous studies have indicated that individuals born into challenging economic and educational circumstances face significant obstacles in breaking free from those conditions unless external assistance intervenes. Take Stock’s comprehensive approach, encompassing mentorship programs and scholarships, equips our scholars with not only academic support but also the essential moral and emotional guidance required for sustained achievement.
